In 2021, AWC Tulsa renamed our annual college scholarships.

The awards are named in memory of Ruth E. Richards, longtime AWC member, former AWC Tulsa president, Saidie Lifetime Achievement honoree and Chapter Super Star honoree.

A life-long learner, Ruth was a talented development communications professional. Even more than that, she was a mentor who tirelessly helped countless peers improve their skills and our community.
